Turbotrucks Bulgaria – the official representative of DAF Trucks N.V. in Bulgaria, celebrated 30 years since its establishment. During this time the company has established itself as one of the most successful suppliers of trucks and services for the transport industry in Bulgaria with about 10 000 trucks delivered to customers.

A stylish anniversary party brought together more than 350 guests – employees, partners, customers and friends of the company – at the Planet Schwarz Tech Theater in the capital. The evening was opened by Piet Wauters, CEO of the Belgian Turbos Hoet Group, of which Turbotrucks Bulgaria Ltd. is a part, Georgi Zagorov, Managing Director of the Bulgarian company and Johan Teeuwisse, Regional Sales Manager of DAF Trucks N.V. The anniversary greetings were also given by H.E. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Bulgaria, Paul Lambert, who congratulated Turbotrucks Bulgaria and highlighted the successful path of the company.

The Managing Director of the company, Georgi Zagorov, who has been with Turbotrucks for 27 years, thanked the attendees for respecting the anniversary. He briefly presented the company’s historical path that has led it to become one of the leaders in the automotive industry in the country and emphasized that it exists for and because of its customers and employees, the two main groups to whom its success is attributed.

In recent years, the company has been awarded numerous prestigious awards by DAF Trucks N.V. – “Gold Star”, “Silver Star” twice, “Best Dealer in All Activities”, “Best Service Dealer”, “Best Dealer in Spare Parts Sales”, “Best Dealer in Heavy Duty Sales”. The company is the market leader in Bulgaria for 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. In addition to the sale of new trucks, the company’s activities include the sale of spare parts, accessories, after-sales service, and service of trucks, trailers and buses. The company is part of the Turbos Hoet Group, which has offices in dozens of countries and more than 1 400 employees worldwide.

The anniversary party of Turbotrucks Bulgaria, which gathered most of the most important figures in the transport industry in Bulgaria, including representatives of leading transport companies, importers of transport equipment, companies offering services for trucks and road transport, lasted until late into the night. In the pleasant atmosphere, congratulations were offered to the team of Turbotrucks Bulgaria, professional talks were held, contacts were made.

Long-time employees of Turbotrucks received anniversary plaques. Also presented were the two newest additions to the team, hired in the days leading up to the anniversary due to the company’s growing business.

The first DAF customer in Bulgaria – Radko Radev, a transport company RS – Transport, was also awarded with a statuette. The last customer of the brand in Bulgaria – the leading transport company Petko Angelov BG Ltd. was also officially presented. On behalf of Lachezar Lachev, the founder of UBN Auto, the predecessor company of Turbotrucks Bulgaria Ltd, the statuette was received by his daughter Magdalena Lacheva.
